ABOUT ARGOS

In the Antilles, Argos operates in Antigua & Barbuda, Dominica, USVI, and US Virgin Islands, each with a terminal equipped to receive bulk-load cement, to be packed if needed, and dispatch to be distributed all around the islands. Some of the products in its portfolio include gray cement, white cement, among others; these can be found in a presentation of small bags, jumbo bags or in bulk, and are available to customers through a wide network of hardware stores and independent contractors that the company has partnered with. Since 2015, Argos has contributed to the islands’ most iconic infrastructure projects around the four islands, such as St. Johns Container Port (Antigua), Royalton Hotel ( Antigua), Barbuda Ocean Club  (Barbuda), Fourteen Towers (St. Maarten), Magens Junction Apartments (USVI), New Cyril E. King Parking Garage (USVI), and others. It has also worked with important organizations to invest in social projects that will aid in the development of local families and their well being.

In the cement business, Argos is the leader in Colombia and the fourth largest producer in the United States.

It has seven plants in Colombia, four in the United States, one in Honduras and one in Puerto Rico; ten clinker mills located in Colombia, the United States, Haiti, Panama, the Dominican Republic, Honduras, French Guiana and Suriname; and thirty-one ports and reception and packaging terminals.The total installed capacity is 23 million tons of cement per year.

In the concrete business, Argos is the leader in Colombia and the second largest producer in the United States. It has more than 265 plants located in Colombia, the United States, Panama and the Dominican Republic.

The total installed capacity is 16.5 million cubic meters of concrete per year. The business model is focused on the client and the generation of value for its stakeholders.
